15-4. AutoCAD Drawing POLYLINE With the Mouse
How to Draw Polyline Using a Mouse in AutoCAD - step by step

Drawing Polyline start via a button on the toolbar DRAW (Draw menu or text => Polyline). The same can be activated via command line prompt (Pline)
After clicking on the button it is necessary to draw a line or set of lines (as if we draw the line command). In fact, in visual terms, this command does not differ from the line command, but the Selection have a visible difference. For details on how to line a line or set of lines, see link LINE
Line drawn the line command has one more grip while Polyline no secondary bridle.
In the pictures below you can see the difference. Pay attention to clause [Arc/Close/Halfwidth/Length/Undo/Width], which I will explain here. This is still the web for beginners in AutoCAD.
NOTE: All lines and polylines can be drawn over one another without fear of trouble. Simply draw them in different Layer and with a different color (as I did in the pictures below)

Drawing in AutoCAD drawn with the LINE command

In principle, there are some differences, but when selected by these lines then we can see the difference and we know that the command was concerned the line drawn. Notice that I have the pictures under the names layer customized command line with which I drew.

To avoid any misunderstanding both of these types of lines have OSNAP magnetic point when you draw (a tie that might have a point to include functional button OSNAP mode).

Here I want to emphasize that it is good to draw the Polyline command when we want to draw a sealed drawing of which we will later create REGION (for now we need to know) and of course once you start drawing the draw command to the end do not end the (then all in one go if possible).
Why? Because when selecting (clicking on Polyline from a stroke) are selected from the entire polyline. And if you draw the Polyline from multiple origins, and then you have selected more than once (because you have more Polyline).
Unless selected by using the framework for selecting the entire sheet.
In the picture below you see that I drew a closed polygon, but with two polylines that are manifested when I has selected (clicked on the line). So selected line is drawn with Polyline command as well as other (not selected)
If I drew a sketch in one go, then after selecting (clicking on a line segment of) the whole drawing was selected. To make sure that the Polyline to see that there is no secondary grip

Combining multiple lines, arcs and Polyline into a Polyline.
As two or more converted into a Polyline? Or how many different lines (Line, Polyline, Arc) to merge into a single Polyline.
If you draw two or more forming a Polyline drawing it all together and you want to convert into a Polyline, you can also use the Polyline command EDIT toolbars MODIFY II.
Suppose you draw a polygon that consists of three Polylines (or multiple lines). Each Polyline (line, arc, Polyline) are drawn separately (but connected).
Use the Command EDIT Polyline do the following (toolbar MODIFY II):
1. Click on the button Edit Polyline
2. Select one of the Polyline (lines)
3. Pay attention to the clause in the Command Line to read
(Enter an option [Close/Join/Width/Edit vertex/Fit/Spline/Decurve/Ltype gen/Undo]:
4. Activate the Join clause, by typing the letter J (j) for the JOIN clause, and then press ENTER
5. The mouse cursor can be transformed into a small box in the Command Line AutoCAD warns you to select the objects
(Select objects:)
6. Select each polyline, and then press ENTER (you can also use the frame for selection)
7. Press ESCAPE (ESC)
8. Select one of the lines and notice that when selecting select all Polylines that you draw and now you have one Polyline in one piece.
If lines are drawn different versions (line, polyline, arc, etc ...) and you are usually selected from a first line drawn with the line or possibly bow drawn with Arc command then the inter-steps 2 and 3, after selecting the first line, you will be question "Do you want to turn it into one? <Y> "What does it mean, you want to convert into one line? AutoCAD offers you the option YES and it is enough to press the Enter key and then proceed with item 3

Convert Multipel Lines and Polylines in to One Line
In the picture below you see that I drew a drawing that consists of 4x line LINE, 1x and 1x Line Polyline line ARC (Make no mistake in the picture I drew every kind of line in the second layer that is a different color)

When selected by each of the lines drawn to look like as shown below. (Note grips for each line)

Activate the Command EDIT POLYLINE and follow the above steps to merge all the lines (converted) into a Polyline. At the end you have a Polyline color as the first line that you selected from (I selected a first ARC red)

If you use the Command POLYLINE and command WIDTH after completion of drawing a line is drawn as filled. If you want to fill the command line to remove the FILL (ON/OFF), after which it takes to run a command REGEN in AutCAD.
