ARRAY - multiple copying of drawings in AutoCAD


Modify toolbar - Modify Menu ARRAY in AutoCAD


ARRAY command run with toolbars with the MODIFY or File Menu Modify => Array, or the command line prompt, type the command.
With ARRAY command can copy multiple lines, parts drawings, blocks and the like.

When the actions of multiple copying should be noted that we can copy multiple drawings in two ways.
  1. multiple copy in square arrangement
  2. multiple copy in a circular (polar) arrangement

Multiple copying is done as follows:

1. Click on the button ARRAY
2. You will open a dialog window with some parameters.

3. Select the object + Enter => Select the base point => OK.
Depending on which arrangement you choose as you have the results on the pictures below. Notice that the circular arrangement need to choose the base point of rotation (click on Center Point button).
