How to draw a Point in AutoCAD using the POINT command


POINT is one of the elements that are most used in geodesy, but can be used in other drawings, all depends on you and your needs.
POINT can have many different looks.
If you set the appearance of a point settings-then has almost not see any point in the drawing. To view the position of a point in the drawing need to give her a look. This can be done as follows:

Here you can specify the size and appearance of Point on the desktop.
Also when working with grid position of a point on the desktop will determine the coordinate system (a position that you can see in the status toolbar)

The Point you draw by clicking the command button POINT and then click on the desktop to the drawing.
Be sure to include OSNAP mode to work with points, because the only way you will be able to tie a line at a certain point.
